What a Christmas present!
Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, Pope Benedict’s Ambassador to the United States, will attend the Walk for Life West Coast! We are greatly honored by His Excellency’s presence–as Eva Muntean, co-founder of the Walk said “This is the next best thing to having the Holy Father himself with us!”
Archbishop Viganò was appointed Nuncio on October 19, 2011, the Feast of the North American Martyrs. He is the 14th Papal representative to the United States–a diplomatic post that was established in 1893. The photo shows His Excellency representing the Pope at the installation of our good new Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone.
